Job Description:

The Social Media Manager designs and delivers social media strategy, plans and editorial needs across digital engagement channels. This role supports the creation of content and building an influencer/ambassador program. Content development includes writing, editing and video support, and tracks and reports impact across all activities. This role is critical to the success of engaging with the Tervis consumer across multiple touch points.

Essential Functions:

  • Drive social strategy for all brand campaigns and product launches, tapping into new, never done before ideas and comping activity/performance year over year

  • Develop paid and organic social media campaigns (by season, key licenses and major launches)

  • Develop content calendar strategy and planning for the brand across all social media platforms-Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest and emerging channels

  • Plan, update and oversee the social media calendar and ensure deliverables are received and deadlines are met

  • Develop and execute influencer and ambassador marketing campaigns as a key component of product launches and seasonal strategies

  • Partner with E-commerce and stores team to drive traffic, leverage activations as content and incorporate social into activations

  • Identify strategic opportunities for innovation on social channels and able to react to business or industry changes/or trends.

  • Build programs that track and activate priority customer segments and allow for content co-creation and partnerships

  • Set and achieve consumer and business KPIs (audience, engagement and ROI) and report to marketing and creative teams

  • Track emerging media, content trends and industry developments

  • Develop documents that support the social media plans for executive review

  • Create network specific strategies and tactics.

Experience and Skills:

  • College degree BS/BA

  • 5 Years of marketing experience preferably with social media focus

  • A strong passion for social media and social networking that includes personal and professional immersion in current social media networks and trends, in depth knowledge of social media tools and techniques, and strong knowledge of emerging social media channels.

  • Proven experience managing scalable influencer marketing programs

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including copywriting, proofreading and editing)

  • Strong strategic thinker with analytical, communication, marketing, and customer focus skills. Organized, detail oriented and focused on execution.

  • Must have ability to develop and execute detailed plans, collect and interpret large quantities of data, and prepare and present concise summaries of findings.

  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point.
