Position Summary:
Responsible for the management and delivery of multiple, large-scale Design & Licensing projects. Acts as the liaison between primary stakeholders on a wide variety of art and design initiatives.
Essential Functions:
- Facilitate workflow of projects by gathering/organizing project information, briefs, and timelines, monitoring workflow to ensure deadlines (current and upcoming). Maintain calendar of workflow to anticipate upcoming needs for Design & Licensing/Custom
- Provide day-to-day direction and supervision to the Production Art team.
- Key contact with Licensing and for licensed art creation (sports, entertainment & lifestyle) and for Line Manager for line activities. Co-own weekly tracker meeting with Line Manager
- Create an art library and work with Production Manager to maintain, catalog all purchased art
- Develop the overall project management strategy for each project: lead monthly turn in meeting, assist in creative brief development, build timeline and contingencies
- Monitor day-to-day activities of each project, securing input and feedback from internal partners; work closely with various vendors including freelance designers, artists, and external vendors
- Assess and define priorities – balancing competing projects, tight deadlines, and stretched resources.
- Manage creative budgets, track invoices, and monitor project costs
- Collaborate with teams to understand and communicate departmental goals, strategies, and supporting tasks
- Responsible for routing proofs and communicating changes to and from business units and design team
- Coordinate with Purchasing Department during hot market item development.
